Biography
_____Most had the pleasure of avoiding the rain, safe little homes that provided shelter from the elements. Most had the pleasure of tuning out the pattering of droplets against the ground, to let a nourishing downpour become part of the background as they went about their work.
_____They wished they could have such a luxury, however no matter one sat, the frigid water would trickle in through the sad excuse of a window far above and drip onto the cave floor. They'd already tried huddling underneath a meager outcropping, yet the water found them anyways, leaving them to sit defeated in the shaft of faltering light. For once, they had to appreciate the lack of a tunic-- if they were wearing one, it'd had to be discarded from how drenched it would be. The rain had lasted for hours, and their fingers had long lost their feeling. They sighed, wondering if this was going to be yet another end; freezing in the small cave they'd called their camp.
_____Perhaps. A few more hours would tell, and with the sun going down, they doubted they would last long. If they were allowed to truly die in this world, maybe they'd care more.
_____But here, they came back.
_____They always would.
_____Their own personal purgatory.
How one expects the Prisoner to speak:
"What canna help ya with?"
How he actually speaks:
"What assistance do you require, sir?"
