It was a dark place, a morbid place. Blood red flames flickered from the candles surrounding the altar. It was a rather bland room compared to the others he had visited, but it served its purpose well enough. Suddenly the bright light of the outside world filled the room, temporarily blinding him. It had been a long while since he had seen the outside world, but thanks to the dragon hauling in a body he would soon. He watched as the dragon hauled the body onto the altar. It was hard to tell if the body was still alive or not. Hopefully recently dead, fighting to inhabit a live body was too exhausting and inhabiting a body that's decayed was too much upkeep. The dragon then began to chant something over the body while also performing various spectaculars. He would never understand why they did such things, chanting the spell was enough to summon him. If the Canopic Jar he was sealed in had lungs and a mouth, he'd sigh at the dragons procession.

Despite the exaggeration of the summoning, he began to feel the tingle of his being disappearing from the jar. He tried to move what once was there and noticed a twinge of movement on the altar. He tried again and saw that the toes of the body move slightly. He mentally smiled, it was happening! He would be free once again! Before he could celebrate any more, everything went black.

When he began to regain consciousness, he noticed that his entire being felt heavy. No wait . . . it wasn't his being, it was different. He could feel the air move around him, the heat from the candles, the noise of the dragon still chanting . . . above him? It, it worked! The dragon summoned him into the body! He's actually alive, living, breathing, alive! If it weren't for the body not being used for awhile he probably could have managed a better laugh, than the croak he let out.

The dragon that was above the body, him, looked down in surprise at the noise. Then snapping out of his surprise quickly retrieved a bottle of liquid from his side. The dragon moved it down to his summon's lips trying to get it to drink. Taste, he could taste things. It was sweet, like nothing he knew. Pain, he could feel pain. The liquid stung his body's parched throat, but it was good pain. The sort of pain that makes you stronger.

He tried the body's vocal chords once again, "D-do you have any i-idea what be. . . ing you have wrought . . . u-upon this wor. . .ld?" It didn't exactly convey the power he wished it to; the gasping breaths didn't help. He tried to stand to try and intimidate the dragon, but instead slumped back down not used to balance and gravity.

"Yes, I do know. It's a power I wish to have at my disposal, Aamon."

Aamon. His own name, he had forgotten after all this time. The word formed a melody to him, he let it echo around the altar. Before he became to indulged in his own name being spoken out loud in such a long time, he turned his eyes to the dragon assessing him, "What do you g-give . . . in return for my pow . . . power, fool."

"The body you currently inhabit. It would be wise to accept my wishes if you want to see outside this altar, as the spell that binds you is only temporary."

"Threatening me into this? Not to wise yourself. And only one measly body as a trade for my power? I might as well stay bound to the jar," a dry, yet dark laugh echoed around the room. The candles danced and flickered as the sound reverberated off the walls. He stared the dragon down. It was almost too easy to miss in the flickering light, but Aamon saw it, the slight surprise, the fear, that someone like him would say no to being mobile to wreck havoc onto the world. Ha, of course he wants to be alive, but he knew how these games played. Make sure they're desperate enough. Those were the easiest to break once they got their wish. The dragon narrowed his eyes at Aamon.

"Hm, I should've gone to Andromalius first. No doubt he would have accepted the body."

"WHAT," he couldn't believe it! He has one of the most powerful demons in front of him and he would still dare utter a lesser demon's name! ". . . FINE. I accept your contract, Sianar." The dragon looked surprised at Aamon knowing his name, he watched the gears turn behind the red eyes, he was never told his name.
