ABOUT. As leader of this motley crew, Lurk discovers quickly that he isn't as good at all the 'leader-ly' things as he'd like to admit. He's forgetful, careless, and horrible at raising team morale. If anything, his 'inspirational' speeches demoralise and drag, leaving the team feeling more down and discouraged than ever. So he does what any good leader does: he recognizes that his strengths lies elsewhere and decides to focus on what's he good at and what his crew is capable of. Wyatt's quick-thinking and viciousness can bail them out of sticky situations, Kidd's organisational skills keeps the gang on track, and Bille's attention to detail ensures that they're well-prepared for any plan, any heist. As for him, his strengths lie in keeping level-headed and calm, making sure that Bille's energy doesn't grind on Wyatt's nerves, that Kidd is provided with sufficient care to keep the Shade within them from killing them, and in general ensuring that the team doesn't implode. He's good at that. Defusing situations, being empathetic. It's quite ironic if you think about it, seeing as his functional role in the team is that of demolitions expert. A dab hand at anything even remotely related to explosives, Lurk can make and defuse almost any kind of bomb on site. His ability to be calm under duress is the second reason he was unofficially elected as leader. More importantly, he's able to make tough decisions that ultimately benefit this ragtag team. Wyatt , ever the reasonable, stoic one, often backs him up on this even when the rest of the team objects. Lurk's practical nature also means that he understands that they can only live on the run for so long. Sooner or later, for better or worse, someone will catch up to them. IMPRESSIONS. Keeps his straight, shoulder-length hair in a short ponytail, always clean-shaven. With a clean shirt and a good pair of boots, he could be mistaken for some wealthy ranch owner's polite son. Do as he asks, or that mask will drop faster than a rattlesnake strikes. PAST. Worked as a demolitions man for three outlaw gangs before forming one of his own. The first tried to short his share by killing him. The second made him their fall guy. The third was alright. He was just the only survivor. CONFIDANTS.
