{flygefisk = flying fish}
Clan Flygefisk is a home for all dragons of any past. It takes in those who were abandoned, those who were turned away, those who are running from their past. It is a peaceful, largely artisanal clan where any skill is welcome.

It is largely peaceful, with only a small group of guards and a talented diplomatic team. It is lead by Oolong and Mocha, who took control when the original founders when they left to serve the Windsinger. Recently, however, one of the founders, Bluebird, has returned home. She declined the offer to return to her old position in favor of leading the merchant fleet.

Clan Flygefisk is located on a cliff on the border of the Windswept Plateau. It overlooks the sea between wind territory and the Southern Icefields. The lair is made up of four parts: the Redbrick Village, the Orchard, the Wall, and the Golden Docks.

Redbrick Village, named for the red clay bricks used in most of its construction, is a small town located near the cliff over the sea. It is bordered on the north and east by the Orchard, and to the south and west by the cliff edge. The village is composed of perhaps forty buildings constructed of the namesake red brick, bamboo, and wood. In the very center of the village is a grand museum, housing art, books, and natural wonders. It also includes stables run by Scutes and Scales, a smithery owned by Forge, a hospital run by Peppermint and Basil, and several kitchens, gardens, shops, studios, political buildings, and homes.

The Orchard is a thick, expansive forest north and east of Redbrick Village, planted by the founders of the clan when they moved from the Viridian Labyrinth, to remind them of home. The areas closer to the village are fruit trees, while the outer sections are used for lumber or left untouched. It is home to many wild familiars as well as the greenwitch Hawthorn and the healers Peppermint and Basil.

The Wall is the cliff face south of the village. It looms several miles high above the sea, peppered with caves, tunnel openings, and ledges, and stairways and ramps criss-cross over its face. Most of the clan make their homes in these caves and tunnels. Deeper in the tunnels are protected areas such as the treasury and armory, and in the deepest caves are the inventor's and alchemists' laboratories. Other caves are used for storage or meeting areas. At the very bottom, there is an enormous, half underwater cavern, large enough for all the clan's members and the entire fleet. It is also often used to hold negotiations with the local Maren pod.

The Golden Docks, named both for the wealth of trade that takes place upon them and the gold-colored wood used to construct them. They hold five mid-sized merchant ships, several small fishing boats, and one grand ship, named the Flying Fish, captained by Bluebird. Where the docks meet the cliff, there is a wide wooden deck where some of the workers do their craft- there are several workshops and processing centers along the deck. To the west of the deck is a small sandy beach, and to the west of the beach is the entrance to a large cave, where negotiations with the local Maren pod take place.

The clan has trade agreements with both nearby dragon clans and local Beastclans. It trades with the Maren pod near the lair, giving them crafted items such as nets and spears in exchange for permission to fish in the Marens' territory. The clan also trades with the Talonok flock to the northeast, as well as the occasional nomadic Longnecks who wander into the clan's territory.
