Ancient Lair
of the
Behemoth
Clan Information
A lair sits near the heart of the Behemoth, peculiar from above. Though the surrounding thick jungles are a deep vibrant green, there's a patch of warm colors peeking out the verdant canopy. Here is where those in the Autumnal Boneyard roost, in a pocket of eternal yawning fall.

No matter the intense humidity or oppressive heat the surrounding thicket provides, a magical barrier keeps the lair's climate a constant chill. The inhabitants seem to have fully embraced this strange magic; many orange and earth-toned dragons flocking to the like-colored sanctuary.

The entrance is marked by a long road of trees, closely grown together to form an arch overhead. As a visitor ventures further and further in, the trees gradually transform from the vibrant green to the dormant reds and oranges. Once fully inside the lair, a sprawling, colorful community awaits.

Aside from the ongoing fall theme, there seems to be another: bones. Many dragons are toting skeletal decorations, some even sporting their own. No one seems terribly off put by the macabre display, however, some even showing affection by cleaning and polishing the other's exposed bones. It's odd, a bit off-putting, but weirdly cute and romantic.

What a strange, magical place you've discovered...

Areas
There are several different areas within the Autumnal Boneyard to be noted:

The Outskirts:
Here is only occupied by the three main sentinels of the Boneyard, Dante, Ellie, and Brennie. Together, this small band of powerful dragons scout and flush prey toward the hunters nearby, as well as stave off any hostile dragons that may be nearby. Sometimes they detain newcomers and question them to ensure they are not a threat to their clanmates within. The outskirts themselves are lush and green, matching the rest of the Labyrinth, though the temperature is much lower than the rest of the dense forest.

The Breeding Grounds:
A fertile, colorful place. Located well within the borders of the Boneyard and near the Boneyard Proper, it is a compact area with lots of dens and a centralized nursery. The sky is almost completely blotted out by the trees' orange and yellow foliage, and the ground is always covered in those fallen leaves. Lanterns light the way from the Grounds to the Boneyard Proper.

The Boneyard Proper:
The main habitat for the Boneyard's denizens. It is here that the Influence of the Boneyard truly takes hold and grants those living within it the fearsome bony appearances that define it so well. It is more open than the Breeding Grounds, but the trees are the same colors, if not richer in vibrancy. Shops and their wares are also exclusively found here, making the Boneyard Proper a thoroughfare as well as network of closely neighboring dens. Lamps mark the entrance to each, to stave off the strange eternal twilight found in the Boneyard. The shops and dens, however, sprawl their way upwards instead of out, creating a dizzying marvel of color and light that spirals up and up into the great canopy above.

The Gloom:
Traveling further, deeper into the Boneyard, the colors of autumn dim and a change begins. This transitional, labyrinthine wood is known as the Gloom. Shadow dragons, as few as there are in the Boneyard, typically make their homes here, but it is not exclusive. Any dragon here has an unspoken task of warding Ice dragons from venturing deeper, for they may not come back.

The Cold:
The innermost part of the Boneyard. It is here that the magics spring forth, the same magics that control the strange weather, the dim light, the everlasting autumn, that perpetuate the macabre transformations seen by almost every inhabitant. No one knows what lies at the very center, as the maze of brambles, ice, and skeletons of those who tried and failed long ago make it impossible. However, whatever it is calls more Ice dragons to it. It feeds off their life energy, oftentimes turning them into living wights and trapping them in its never ending coils. Any Ice dragon that sets foot in the Boneyard hears its call and is vulnerable to that sweet siren song.

Oh! Also, I have a set of perfectly identical Gaoler twins I was looking to rehome together! Maybe you’d like to take them, as part payment or otherwise? They are: Platinum Basic, Grey Streak, Moon Shardflank, unusual Ice eyes. One male, one female.

Hello! Would you be willing to sell your Scaly Armour (Guardian F) skin for treasure, or take a trade in part payment? Your ratio of 1:900 would come to a price of 1350000, which is a lot more than I have... or at least could I get time to get the money?
