grazing the coast of the boundless sea with the southern icefields just barely visible on the horizon, a distant blur hidden behind an atmosphere permeated by smog. the heart of the lair, hidden within an ancient volcano pulled from the earth and spewing with endless heat, said to have been ignited by the defeat of the ancient rhita gawr. adorned with countless nooks carved in every corner which flaunt its liveliness, here are machines who have never known the luxury of rest. its toiling black smitheries forged from the hardened obsidian harbour precious ores found nowhere else, which even under dimmer light gleam bright enough to send foreign

artisans into jealousy. one would think that in such a perilous location it would be of poor judgement to parade their wealth, if it weren't for the rigorous measures of security which prevent anyone unauthorised from entering, or leaving. those who live among this lair can be classified as pagan worshippers of Gofannon- praising their deity through various means which range from upholding their generations long traditions of metallurgy, to fueling the glorious hearth of their sanctum.
