explosions' Clan

My clan, The Bright Embers, is a nomadic band created by the first five(my progens and their three kids). These five are the core of the group. Other dragons are there also, but they all think of the first five as their leaders. Many go to serve the Lightweaver, who is the family's diety, but others go to other clans. We travel across Sorneith, never staying long in one place.

As you walk through the Sundial Terrace, you feel the warmth of the sun on your scales. The air smells of flowers, and dust. You have been walking for a long time, and you have passed many clans. Some you have visited, others you have passed right on by. Just as evening is approaching, you see a caravan. It is a wooden wagon that looks as if it is overweight. There are various tools and other items hanging from ropes on the sides, and there is a harness in the front. It seems to be for a dragon to pull when the group moves. When you walk closer, you see others, mostly guardians, practicing fighting techniques, napping, or doing other things. When you go up to the group, a grey and pink guardian approaches you. "Hello, can I interest you in anything?" he asks, smiling. You mutter no, you just wanted to spend the night and learn about another clan, and his face falls slightly, only to perk back up. "You said you wanted to stay the night, right? Well if so, at least if you want to be guarded, then you'll have to pay." You agree to pay, and he introduces himself as Xylant. Then he leads you over to the others, and you get a fast group of names. Iofasa for the regal white guardian, Hsur the purple and red guardian, Vykos for the guardian wearing the brightly colored sweater, Quinysa for the dagon clad in yellow armor, looking ready to fight, Duskwren for the skydancer, Micar for the green guardian, Almasina for the fae, and Flam for the red guardian pulling the caravan. As the sun sets, Quinysa pulls meat out of the wagon and hands some out to each of the guardians. She then gives insects to the fae and skydancer, and plants to the tundra. You assure her that you brought food for yourself, and everyone sits down to eat. Conversation flows easily, and you find yourself getting used to these dragons. You learn that Iofasa and Hsur are the clan leaders, with Xylant, Vykos, and Quinysa as their children. Duskwren had been with the group since before they were born, and Micar and Almasina joined soon after. The clan itself was young, having only been started a few months before. You go to sleep knowing that this is a good group, one that will shelter many over time.
