Lore:
A small, but recently thriving Kingdom that is situated in the Starwood Strand next to the Scarred Wasteland.

Led by King Ealadha and his Consort, Aventine, Wellspring is a clan on the rise after the last king left a devestating legacy.

Some geography notes:

The base of Wellspring’s Great Wellspirng Oak was the center of the clan, metaphorically, not physically. The tree was so close to the Plaguelands that from the top of the tree, looking out east, you could see the edges of the Wyrmwound. The Great Wellsping Oak roosted the majority of the clan’s Fae residents, and all public hearings took place among its revealed roots. All along the trunk were Fae nests, some used for generations, as Kings long ago decided to curb roosting to preserve the tree. And even now the King kept the old edicts. So space there was very popular and often fought over.

At the base of the Great Wellspring Oak was a large spring that had fed the tree to it’s enormous size. Irrigation lines spread out from it to all parts of the city and farmlands, although there were other rivers and lakes to help keep the city hydrated. Between the large tangling roots of the Oak and the stone that was common in the soil of the Starwood Strand, a large cave had been formed over the years. Large structures have been built under the Oak and in the cave to keep the integrity of the spring and cave. Poor management and upkeep threatens this place though.

From the Oak spanned a small but sprawling city. The city had been built and rebuilt over the cycles and had even been abandoned for a time, and was currently in a state of rebuilding as newcomers had come to take the place of the lost old. Now it was largely a planned city and bustling. The city itself was shaped like a half-moon, as to not spread too far into the Scarred Wasteland. It instead grew westward eating up land in the Starwood Strand. The Great Wellsping Oak was near the edge of the boundary.

To the north of the Great Wellspring Oak was the palace and other government buildings. The palace was small, and the western wing is under repair, so the whole building itself looks lopsided. Beyond that was a small Crystal Spine that had been hollowed out for those who preferred their draconic forms. Many of the caves had been hollowed out by former residents of the city, and it was said to be haunted. Few residents of the city choose to live there.

To the south of the Great Wellspring Oak was mostly residential areas, as well as Tylendel’s greenhouse, which, which, among the stone buildings, became a shining beacon in the morning sun.

The eastern edge of the city was taken up by a huge hopsital, typically frequented by shifted residents but with an outdoor bay large enough to accommodate an Imperial. With the Scarred Wasteland so close, it was imperative to keep a large hospital center running.

Dense buildings around the center dissolved into farmland as one got closer to the western edge of the city. The farmland sprawls out unevenly with strands of Starwood oaks to break up the fields. There was one sore spot among the idyllic farmlands though, Mika’s workshop which belched black smoke all hours of the day (and night.)

Throughout the city and farmlands there are ruins of the old cities, stone pillars that have been knocked over, shards of the Crystal Spines that were brought to the city as the great Crystal Spine to the north had been hollowed out over the generations.

Thank you for the roast, it was a good laugh! Especially since those purple accent color yellows were the breeding projects. Plastic surgery takes the cake, tho!

I just wanted to say I'm glad you picked up Serenity! I thought she was lovely, but I ended up with too many projects, so it's really nice to see her find a new home (whether it ends up being permanent or not!) ^^ Hope you have a great day!
