There is a fairly large den, filled with books, bones, scrolls and stones, built on the ruins of what may have once been a library. This is a hoard of knowledge, ever growing and constantly guarded. Dragons from all flights are welcome within these walls to study and learn, on the condition that they bring a book with them to add to the collection.

Dragons within the lair mostly fall into one of five ranks, although a few have taken additional titles to indicate their more unique roles:

Grand-Librarians: These positions are held by Eldyth and Ireth, and are the supreme authority within the flight.

Quote:

Professors: These dragons specialize in teaching other dragons, guiding them in whatever path they prefer. While they aren’t the most intelligent members of the flight, they are respected for their ability to ask their students the right questions, and keep them safe while they pursue their studies.

Quote:

Magi: these specialists excel at elemental magic, having learned through experimentation and study to tap into the secret arts of their chosen element. They are also all trained to heal others. These are often the most intelligent members of the flight.

Quote:

Librarians: these are the rank and file of the flight. Dragons whose studies have lead them to a more rounded education. They care for the collection, preserving and cleaning the books, documents, and relics, as well as arranging trades to keep the treasury full and the library expanding.

Quote:

Acolytes: these dragons are often temporary residents, enrolled in a service training program. They serve the lair, and pay a fee in exchange for the opportunity to learn from the professors and Grand-Librarians before going on to do honorable and distinguished service for one of the deities of the world.
