We hope everyone that celebrated had a very nice holiday season, and we wanted to wish everyone a happy new year. While the team is excited to kick-off 2014, we have unfortunate news to share. Early in the morning on New Years Day, Flight Rising team member and codesmith Akiri was involved in a hit-and-run car accident. He is currently being hospitalized for two broken legs, a broken arm, and and other injuries. We have been in contact with his family and close friends in the area ever since, and are happy to report that so far he has been in good spirits, and is expected to make a full recovery.
We will leave this post open for well wishes but respectfully request that his and his family's privacy be respected at this time. Akiri's health and well-being are of utmost importance to us, and we appreciate all the support and kind thoughts while he heals, and while we take time to help him in any way we can. Do not worry, he's a tough nut to crack. He'll be just fine.
