GhostBeach here we are! That's a beautiful pair, I love them. I feel bad asking, but I think that's 64kt? unless you wanted to pay with gems. Seoul's bio is a fair bit shorter than Dynasty's, but altogether they're just over 1000 words. I hope they're satisfactory!
Dynasty:
Dynasty is a striking black-and-gold Imperial whom you will rarely hear speaking out in public. His words and stories are saved for his mate, Seoul, who he loves with all his heart. His focus and eye for detail is remarkable; while listening to a conversation, he can note the speaker's body language, tone, facial expression, and also what's going on around him. He soaks up information, tons of it every day. Some might think this a boring or exhausting way to live and think, but Dynasty enjoys it: he likes knowing what's going on, being able to surprise dragons later on, and he's learned many things. Despite the time he spends watching the world around him, he doesn't spare a single minute with Seoul. She is the one dragon Dynasty has ever loved: since the time she moved to the lair next-door and he met her at the local Brightshine Jubilee party. He feels more comfortable with her, more respectful and loyal to her than any other dragon he has ever known. in times of struggle and hardship, Dynasty is a strong figure. He is very compassionate, and would make an excellent -although quiet) leader or tactician. However, he sometimes gets carried away- with noticing things, looking good, the like. He can also be brutally honest, which can hurt more than help on occasion. He spends a lot of time at home and among the clan, but he spends a fair amount of time in the coliseum.
Dynasty was born near the Mirrorlight Promenade, in a large hollow in the woods. He grew up there, roaming the woods and ruins, basking in the light. His mother, a druid who saw secrets in the curls of bark and sprigs of grass, taught him to watch carefully. It became a habit, a thing of pride even, to look for things and be aware of things that other people didn't see. As a teen, he heard of a new lair being built in the woods nearby, for a clan who had moved from the Scarred Wastelands to the west. Two months later, the Brightshine Jubilee started. His mother saw signs in the leaves, that her son's life was about to change. She let him wander the Jubilee celebrations alone, and he searched for red-eyed dragons. For a moment, he thought he saw himself wandering the pines. then he met Seoul, and everything changed forever. They were, in a word, soulmates. They spent a lot of time together, but not too much- they needed independence to grow. Dynasty tied his future to hers, and they ended up joining a thriving Arcane clan and becoming mates. Every Brightshine Jubilee, they bid farewell to their classmates and fly back east. They stay the whole month long, and will eventually bring their children. And every time, they take a walk in the woods where it all began.
Dynasty shares a large den with his mate, Seoul. Off of the main clearing, there is a section of the ground where rock outcroppings jut from the forest floor. A threshold and tunnel are carved into a large exposed section. Purple-barked roots, glowing with a carpet of purple-blue moss with tiny white flowers, snake around it and burst through the stone from a twisted tree above. Opening the white-wood door, you tread carefully through a low tunnel into a large, earthy cave. It looks like the work of an Earth mage, as if a chunk of rock in a dome shape had been vaporized from the ground. More roots (brown this time, how odd...) hang and loop across the ceiling. There are many, many candles in this cave, but the smoke is sweet-scented and is funnelled through a shaft above the fireplace. Everything is warm-coloured and cozy, like the Light forests of the occupant's childhood.
Seoul
Seoul is a gentle, kind dragon. There seems to be no end to her hospitality and welcome, although she's very shy at first. Having grown up in the Abiding Boneyard, she knows how to survive when things get rough. But Seoul is a scholar at heart. She loved the Sunbeam Ruins and the dragons who lived there, just as much as she loves the lessons and little things Dynasty tells her from his observations of the world. She loves to write and record things, and to out why things happen. She spends a lot of time with her clan, talking to people and sharing stories. She is, in fact, pan, but Dynasty captured her heart and she's absolutely content to stay with him for as long as fate decides. She always seems to be amused or content, and she laughs very easily. When angry (which is rare) or under pressure, Seoul is a surprisingly feisty and very powerful force.
Seoul was born in the Abiding Boneyard. Her small golden wings were filthy, and the only thing her clan taught her as a hatchling was to survive. She didn't even learn to read until her clan leader admitted everything was going horribly and it was time to leave the Plaguebringer's lands. The woods near the Mirrorlight Promenade were like a paradise to her. An old scribe from a neighbouring clan taught her to read and she began spending hours each day carving words into stones and sticks and reading every scroll she could find. When she had read everything her clan had, she only smiled and began wandering the forest to find the words of the forest. On a whim, she once ventured into the trees above her neighbour's lair. She saw her reflection upon the ground; another imperial, with a black body and golden wings and golden runes running along his sides. She was intrigued by how that had happened, and watched him for as long as she could. When the Brightshine Jubilee rolled around, she hadn't expected to find him there, but thank goodness she had. They have been together, or close by, ever since.
Seoul and Dynasty's den is in a large, candle-lit, and cozy cave in the Starwood Strand. Their nest is layered in warm white blankets. And entire wall of the cave is almost covered by bookshelves and scroll racks. Dried herbs and jars of trinkets and light charms hang from the roots crisscrossing the ceiling. There are niches with exotic spices and foods by the fireplace, and a wooden table in the center of the room. Crystal water from a cistern aboveground can flow through a pipe driven through the stone into a small basin in the corner.
