This Hatchery produces [b]2nd Generation Dragons that are XYY and XXY colorations[/b], and a few custom favorite colors of mine! I focus on breeding gen 1s, and once in a blue moon add another couple to my hatchery once I finish a gene project. [b]Why Gen 1s You May Ask:[/b] The original reason I focusd on generation 1 dragons (including my progen, I was lucky with his tertiary color) is they added new genetics to the gene pool. When we breed dragons from huge family lines, there is greater risk of finding a dragon related to them, and being unable to breed them, especially if looking for certain colors. Many of my dragons are very old now, and beyond being great great grandparents! The more I breed my dragons now though, the more related dragons there are...so now I try to breed mostly by request to keep the gene pool as clear as possible.
