Luckily I now have a job, I'm working retail, and I'll be able to steadily save up for both a new Harddrive and a secondary tower so I won't be left in the dark if something happens to one. The hatchery is not closed but it will be running incredibly slowly while I don't have home computer access. My iPod can sort of connect to FR but it doesn't run well off my internet, I'm lucky if I can get the daily gathering and such to work, but I am not leaving FR and the Hatchery will not be closing.[/b] [left][size=4][i]In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. I was still figuring the site out, making friends, and was quite comfortable collecting my Tolkien dragons and playing in the fairgrounds when I was struck by an idea. I wanted to be able to share my dragons, like Capri had shared Eowyn and Faramir with me, and I sat down and began my Unexpected Raffle. Though the month was wrought with some devastating troubles, accidentally selling prizes, purchasing them again, expansions galore, and having to begin completely again just a week from the end all my supporters pulled me through. I released the second thread, The Desolation of Neon, sold a bunch of tickets, sold a couple of scrolls I won in an extremely generous giveaway, and finally we're here. I started hoping to get enough to expand my lair to make this happen, and now the day is here. While Tolkien is certainly the inspiration behind many of my pairings, I chose the name "There and Back Again" for several reasons. Firstly, it seemed fitting with my trilogy of raffle and deletion, the films that started my love of Tolkien's lore are ending at the end of the year, and something a little closer to my heart. These characters from The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Fallout, and several other sources of fiction are my favorites. I don't read the books every day, and I don't play the games all the time, but every time I start that first chapter again or pick up that controller and get lost in the Wasteland, it's like coming home. I want to share that love of these characters with all of you!
