Hello, and Welcome to the XXY Association! Founded in April of 2014, we've proudly been serving the XXY enthusiasts of Flight Rising by offering a place to list, sell, and buy XXY Dragons!

This is a breeders/sales thread for the XXY breeders of the XXY Association. Here members can show off pairs, hatchlings for sale, hatcheries/blogs, basically, anything XXY related!

Any near XXY pairs must have tight primary/secondary ranges, no more than four colors apart. See the examples below for what makes a good registrable breeding pair and what is not allowed.[/center] [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/7K64QrO.png[/IMG] [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/W6vAVxb.png[/img][/center] This pair has a matching primary and secondary color, but their tertiary colors are different. This is a prime example of an XXY pair. A wider tertiary range may be preferable to some breeders. [center][IMG]http://i.imgur.com/Ifs39NZ.png[/IMG][/center] [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/z59DdWk.png[/img][/center] This is another acceptable pair, as the Primary is a singular color, and the Secondary range has only 3 colors in it. This means the odds of an XXY being produced is greater. This pair's coloration is has a range of 4 colors in the Primary and Secondary color slots. With the range this far apart, an XXY hatchling may be a somewhat rare occurrence-- but not quite a fluke. The primary range is too far apart, but the secondary range is acceptable. Remember, the range of color can be a maximum of four colors apart. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/1lSXYDx.png[/IMG] - [b]All dragons listed for sale in the thread must be XXY[/b]. Primary/secondary colors must be identical. No exceptions. No Near/Close/Almost XXY dragons allowed, and no XXX (Triple) dragons allowed. Even if they have come from the same clutch as your approved breeding pair. - [b]Any XXY Dragon may be listed for sale[/b]. This means that if you bought an XXY dragon and you no longer want it-- you may post it here for sale! You are NOT limited to only posting hatchlings from your approved XXY pairs either. Once you become a member, you can post any XXY dragon sales you wish! :) - [b]Regarding Genes[/b]... your dragon breeding pair does NOT have to have genes, though genes are preferred by most if not all buyers. Some users [i]will[/i] purchase ungened dragons if they're the specific color they're looking for and aren't related. - [b]Regarding Ping List Usage[/b]... Always use the APPROPRIATE Ping List(s) when advertising your dragons. The General Ping List consists of users interested in any or all XXY dragons. There are also specific colorset ping lists that you may utilize if your hatchlings fall between those color ranges. Never use the Staff Only Ping list! Doing so will result in your membership being terminated. - Until you have submitted an application and have been approved as a member, you may not post in the thread (to list pairs, hatchlings, etc.) or participate in giveaways or contests. Approval may take up to 36 hours (as we have real lives as well!)

In recent Flight Rising associations I've noticed that people use the Association page as more of a sales-thread than a breeders hub... which is great! It keeps all of the most current breeders in the public's eye. Breeders Lists often run too long and are not a useful resource for finding the sort of dragon's they're after.

Far too often have members gotten lost in a long breeders directory, and in many cases breeder's have gone inactive and their hatchery page is either defunct or no longer maintained.

Therefore, I am not going to post a Members List anymore due to how high maintenance they are to upkeep, and how unused they are due to their size. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience to you!
