What We Do
Here at Delightful Dragon Rescue, our team of dragon specialists sorts through the dragons on the Auction House, listed at fodder price and purchase the dragons that they feel are worthy of a second chance, rather than just being sentenced to exaltation. We then take them to our lair and give them a loving environment to thrive in, until they can find the perfect home. We sell them at a higher price than fodder (10kt) just to make sure that the new caretakers of the dragons are serious about ownership, and will not proceed to exalt after purchasing.
Adopting a Dragon
After looking through our selection of beautiful dragons, ready for a new home, you may find one that tickles your fancy and wishes to adopt it. To do so, please tag @NocturneSquad on the forums and notify him of which dragon you would like. Upon seeing your request, if the dragon is still available, he will start a two-way crossroads trade with you. Every dragon is 10kt or 10g, depending on how you would like to pay.
Surrendering a Dragon
Let's say that the joyful times between you and your dragon have come to a close and you are considering exaltation. Rather than giving up your dragon entirely, we will willingly take in any dragons and rehome them for free. You will also receive half the profit from the adoption (5kt or 5g) if you wish. Please message @Nocturnesquad if you must surrender a dragon.
Surrendering and Purchasing Standards
For us to purchase a dragon off the AH as fodder, it must abide by these three rules
1) The price of the dragon cannot exceed 5kt or 5g
2) The dragon must be deemed attractive by all members of the rescue in order to better its chances of being adopted
3) The dragon must not be an adult
2) The dragon must be deemed attractive by all members of the rescue in order to better its chances of being adopted
3) The dragon must not be an adult
For us the take in surrendered dragons, they must only abide by the second rule
Frequently Asked Questions
Isn't this just dragon flipping?
In a way, yes, this is dragon flipping. But this is not a "get rich quick" scheme. Our team actually takes time sorting through the AH to find the best dragons for rehoming and dragons do take a while to get adopted, so this is by no means a fast way to profit. It's just fun
Am I allowed to exalt a dragon purchased from the DDR?
While our mission is to give dragons forever homes, yes, it is fine to exalt one of our dragons after purchase. The fact that you adopted them and even for a short period of the time loved them, dressed them and paired them with a Familiar, and gave them a second shot at love is enough for us, and we do believe it is a great honor to serve one of the great deities.
Reviews
Leaving a review of your experience with DDR is not only welcome but recommended! Please, leave a post on this forum telling us how your interaction with staff went, and whether or not you would purchase from us again if you were to find the right dragon available. We also love to see updates on how your dragon is doing, so please feel free to post on this forum any pictures of new apparel you have given to your rescue dragon, or any gorgeous offspring they may have to show off
