NightWalkers are also commonly covered in [b]spines[/b], however, on rare occasions, they will also exhibit a slightly lighter shade of obsidian ([b]stained[/b]) and an unusually soft hide. It is often believed by other dragons that crossing paths with one of these jet-black Imps is unlucky, but this is just a myth... or is it? Descendents of Anubis are extremely easy to recognize, as they are always born with a dark [b]metallic[/b] or [b]iridescent[/b] hide, illuminating golden, or near golden [b]alloy[/b] feathers and [b]runes[/b]. An Arctic Hunter's usually white or off-white hide makes him or her well camouflaged in snowy climates and an excellent candidate for hunting in places such as The Southern Icefields. These Imperials are almost always spotted ([b]jaguar[/b]) but may also, due to a rare genetic mutation, have a [b]petaled[/b] hide rather than spots. Their wings are either [b]shimmery[/b] or crystalline ([b]facet[/b]) and they usually have a white [b]underbelly[/b], but will occasionally have strange white markings over their face ([b]smirch[/b]) which is beleived to be another genetic mutation within the subspecies. These imps, though beautiful beyond compare, are wild and unpredicitable with strong hunting and fighting instincts. Gilded Imperials who manage to overcome their overwhelming desire obsess over valuables and vanity often make powerful mages or warriors. Like their cousins, these Imps have light [b]iridescent[/b] hides and golden wings, however, their wings can be either glossy ([b]alloy[/b]) or resemblant to that of a [b]butterfy[/b]. They also usually have golden [b]runes[/b], but may also have golden [b]glimmer[/b] bellies.
