IMPORTANT: As of now, I've closed this thread for choosing raffle winners and thinking on how to renovate the rules. I'll open it up again once I find a good way to change up the giveaway. Please do not reply before this comment is gone.

I've seen giveaway threads for newbies in the Wind Flight Forums, but not yet one for the entire site regardless of flight. So I'm making one based on this post by @insanenobaka.

RULES

FOR ADOPTERS

1. Please be polite and respectful to everyone in the thread.
2. Please do not resell or give the dragons to others or exalt them for at least two weeks after receiving it.
3. YOU MUST HAVE JOINED ON SEPTEMBER 3RD.
4. You must possess at most only ten gened dragons.
5. Only one dragon per person please.
6. You have 48 hours to accept the trade otherwise the dragon will be put back up for adoption.
7. After you have gotten your dragon, please delete your post.
8. Please ping the person who owns the dragon in order to get it. Their name will be listed underneath the picture of the dragon. Direct all PMs to the donors as needed.
9. DO NOT PM ME unless I am the one donating the dragon.
10. DO NOT BEG ANYONE FOR A DRAGON, EVEN IF YOU HAVE CLAIMED IT. THEY ARE DONATING IT, BUT THEY ARE NOT OBLIGED TO GIVE IT TO YOU.
11. I reserve the right to add more rules if needed.

FOR DONORS

1. Please ping or PM me when donating dragons so I don't miss your post.
2. After they have been claimed, please delete or edit your post so people know the dragons are no longer available. Please ping me to let me know the dragons have been given away. I will need the knowledge to add you to the raffle.
3. If you'd like me to take a dragon off (or exchange it for a different one) because of extenuating circumstances, let me know and I'll do it for you.
4. As my lair is a little full, I would prefer it if you would please keep the dragons in your own lair for the time being.

OTHER

1. Please don't come heckling about the economy. I will block you if you do.
2. I will check lairs to see the dragons have been distributed properly.

PRIZES

As detailed below, I will be raffling away gene and breed change scrolls. For every dragon you give away within the period of thirty days, I will award you one ticket for the raffle. At the end of the thirty days, I will select 3 winners and let them each choose a scroll that they want.

In the brown line above your posts, it should look like this:

You click on "Delete" the message board will ask if you are sure, and you click Yes.

How to post a dragon's picture
There are two ways:
1. Go to the dragon's profile and hit the generate code button underneath the energy bar. Copy and paste the BBCode onto the post.
2. Right click the dragon's picture and select copy image location. Go to your post and click the image insertion link (looks like a pine tree) and paste the url there. Don't forget to delete the trail of numbers after the .png.

To insert a link to the dragon in your lair on the picture, use this code and remove the spaces in the brackets.:

How to adopt
Or to be specific, how to do a trade. Since you can't be gifted or gift a dragon directly, you have to use the crossroads (on left side, fifth link under shop) in order to get the dragon. The donator will send a request for 1 T (and only 1 treasure since this is supposed to be for "free.") and all you have to do is accept. The link should also show up in the alerts as well.
