Happened to me too when I hatched my last nest, fwiw. Using Firefox. The hatchlings showed fine on the lair page, though.

I've had this happen before too. It always seems to happen when I'm hatching a nest very soon after rollover. I use Firefox.

this happens periodically to me too, a chrome user. i think it even happened this morning. hopefully it gets fixed soon!

I've had this happen at least a couple times. i think i have a screen shot of one, but i don't remember exactly when it happened as at least one time was last year and the most recent would have been a few months ago.
edit: here is my screen shot of at least one time this happening. i posted to Imgur with in a day or two but can't seem to find exact day other than 11months ago. I will try and find it though.. i'm not sure if i've updated my FireFox since then.
edit again: Okay this image was taken on December 11th last year my other incident that i captured the picture of was just this past august on the 27th. i just didn't post the image anywhere.
I wasn't too worried about the second one since i just opened another tab to make sure i had all my babies before hitting the 'back to lair' button
