TOPIC | Load wheel forever
1 2
Any time I do something on the site that requires the loading wheel to come up:

i.e. opening a chest item and more frequently, putting a dragon up for sale

if the load wheel appears in the pop up box for more than about a second it becomes stuck like that permanently trying to load.

this happens almost every time I want to put something up for sale resulting in me having to refresh the page and enter the data again each time. Each time I press 'okay' on a pop up box to continue the transaction I run the risk so putting things up for sale is a nightmare. :/

I'm using OS X and Safari if that makes any difference. It happens less frequently on the windows PCs at work, though that could be related to time of day? I don't know.

Does anyone else get this?

@dustscale
The exact same thing happens to me when I sell dragons/items, set up crossroads, etc. on my iPhone (using Safari). My laptop and other computers I use (PC, Firefox) don't usually have this problem. :/ I don't know if it's just an issue with Safari, or something else...

Besides Safari, my phone uses wifi but my laptop and campus computers use ethernet, so maybe it's an issue of wifi connectivity. Do you use wifi? Also, when I'm on my phone it *seems* to work better if I click slowly instead of clicking through things too quickly. It also sometimes loads whatever it's loading if I wait a few minutes (but I usually don't have the patience).

Hope that helps at least a little. :(

Happens to everyone. If you are trying to post, remember to copy the text first. You might lose what you typed!!!

Having said that, a quick refresh should solve all your troubles.

@Havendre both my Mac and the PCs are on WiFi so I don't think it's that but I have noticed I can get better results by slowly clicking on things, almost as if I give the website time to notice my cursor has moved onto a button? But like you said that's not a sure solution :/

@Varden (is that an Eragon reference?) I'm definitely going to have to remember to copy things, but on the tiny form for selling things it doesn't seem worth it. And it's just so frustrating having to refresh 5-6 times in a row! :/

@Dustscale @Havendre: If possible, could you try using a different browser? I noticed you both use safari, and both noticed it happens less on a different computer with different browser. If it is possible for you to use a different browser perhaps it'll solve the problem for you too!
Otherwise clearing the cache may do the trick too! c:

I get this too. Brand new iPad running safari.
Most of the time it's repeated instances in a row.

@DraconianFox; The same question for you; could you please try using a different browser? Thank you.

@gaia I don't know what other browser is compatible with the iPad, haven't found anything in the iTunes store.
