I know this is pretty late, I hoped that this issue would solve itself over time but it didn't so I eventually decided to report it:

Ever since open registration, I have some really annoying connection issues where I am unable to connect to Flight Rising for a few minutes (3-10 average). This happens multiple times and randomly over the day. Since I never had any problem with other websites during those times I figured that it must be something from FR's side.

I hope someone looks into this since it's really starting to get annoying. Since open registration there was no day were I haven't had that problem at least once..

What do you mean by "connection issues"?

I'm getting timed out quite frequently since open registration. After the error message, I cannot connect to fr for several minutes (every other website works fine). I cleared my cache and cookies (didn't help, I still have to wait for a few minutes until the connection can be established), I unplugged and restarted my router, I tried a different browser, nothing works. I can just be patient and wait. And I try to avoid the things that trigger the time outs like melting down things in Baldwin or changing apparel and familiars.

There have been a few people reporting this “time out” issue over the last few months, but I’m not sure if either of them ever sent a ticket. They’d probably just say “clear your cache” anyways.

Meh, I always clear my cache when I turn off my PC for the day, but I still have those issues :/

Clearing the cache doesn't help, that only seems to be the thing they always tell you to do. But you could try sending in a ticket, I just don't have the patience for it or I would have done it myself.

Yeah, I don't really have patience either..and, like you said, they would probably just tell me to clear my cache.. :/
