I recently bought a fodder dragon and wanted to name it before relisting it on the Auction house, which I do quite frequently. Something odd happened this time however and it is that I typed in the name "Cereza" and then hit "Accept" I then got the message "Your dragon is now named Reuel!" I was extremely confused and went to check the dragon and the dragon had indeed received the name "Reuel"
I decided then to check the bug forums and I only saw one that sounded at all similar from 2013 which had no replies. I'm unsure if this bug is incredibly rare or if something else happened while I was naming it, as I did use the randomizer, then left the naming to look at the dragon and think of a different name.

Despite this being a fodder dragon I was pretty shocked and disappointed that the dragon ended up getting some random name, if my backing out of the naming to double check the dragon's appearance was related, maybe that is how I caused it?

1. use the randomize button while naming a dragon;
2. exit the Name Dragon window without naming the dragon;
3. enter the Name Dragon window again;
4. paste/type in chosen name and click Accept -> the dragon ends up with the last random name instead of a chosen one.

I tested it myself and I can confirm its bugged. Hope it gets fixed!

Yes!! this just happened to me!! i tried to name a dragon Chrysocolla and since i had used the randomizing feature, and closed out, when i opened it again to name her it chose her name to be Lauras.

I just experienced this bug as well. Glad to know I'm not the only one, but pretty disappointed that I have to waste a rename scroll because of this.
