im actually really surprised that this isn't fixed yet?
so i got a crossroad from someone (i won a giveaway) and of course i accepted it , then i tried to send a message to thank the person. but an error appeared as soon as i hit enter, telling me to report this in this forum board. now, i would've just left it there thinking, "i guess its not a feature to add a message after you've accepted it, i'll just private message them," but that error message told me to report it, so i just had to do it
and of course, my dummyhead forgot to take a screenshot, but here's something that was included in the "bug":

Chiming in to say, it's not really what I'd call a bug. Crossroad transactions cannot have messages added to them once they're completed because they are closed and archived as a record. It'd be like trying to talk to someone once you end a phone call.
I will say that it's a bit messy that they don't have an error message telling people what went wrong or that it's not possible, but as far as I know nothing is actually breaking here which is why it can be left as low priority for a fix.
And for thoroughness, the workarounds include adding messages before completing the transactions, sending mail after, profile comments, forum comments, and offsite communication.
