Entry Fifteen
Garrik returned to his cavern, in which he shared with his hatch-mate Sonata. Half the room was adorned with bones and tusks, where on his half of the room, was covered with leaflets and papers. Covered in etchings and drawings, thoughts and ideas. He was the thinker in this brothership. Sonata stormed into the room not long after the Tundra, and he was soaked with blood and had the most devillish look on his face. "I had a great time!" He hissed, kneading and laying down on his bone hoard. Garrik stared at his brother, he had grown more muted in colours over the past few days and his bat familiars always stood close. The cracks in the roof of their room were home to many bats, and the cursed bats and the runic bats. Sonata started to look like a Runic Bat!
Garrik shifted slightly and glanced at his paws, then back at his brother. His firey eyes reflected the passion he shared for battling, claws shredding through flesh. He stood up and without breaking eye contact with his brother, approached him. Stopping just before his bone hoard, he held out his claw, expecting Sonata to do the same. They were always together, so the Mirror knew what Garrik meant. "What are you even up to thissss time Garrik?" He quipped, handing his his claw. It was still blood soaked, but dried. Garrik grasped his brothers claw and grabbed a sharp tusk on the ground. He gouged it deep enough to leave a scar on his own paw, before handing the tusk to his brother. His own firey eyes shared that passion, and they were brothers by nature - now they would become blood brothers. Sonata hissed slightly, but grabbed the tusk and gouged his own hand. Blood rose to the surface of both bloody claws as they shook each other firmly, the blood spreading between them.
The ritual was over and Garrik grinned at his brother, it was rare to see him smile, let alone grin. Sonata felt a little uneasy, but grinned back never the less, recoiling his bloody claw. Lapping at it, Garrik returned to his side of the room and pressing his bloody claw to some parchment.
What was he up to?

Voltaic huffed and returned to the craggy lair. He stomped into the lower levels and into the seering room - the room with the lake in the middle. It was illuminated with soft flames and the lake was still. He peered in and saw a scowl upon his face. He took a deep breath, in and out, before laying down and resting his claws in the cool water. Garrik was an adolescent, it's just a phase. "He will grow out of it." He murmured to himself, flicking the water slightly. He coiled his tail around him as he continued to think to himself.
Not long after, The ridgeback returned. She seemed bothered by something and peered into Voltaics room, neither Voltaic nor Coronia was there. She stepped into her own room, empty without Noir. They must still be out... Her thoughts returned to the Mirrors behavior today. Troubled, she seeked the seering room. A large familiar spring guardian was already there, and it looked like he was deep in thought too. Sliding next to him, she rested her head on his shoulders. "You seem troubled. Do share." She insisted, and the guardian sighed. He turned to face her and proceeded to tell her all about Garrik.
Maggie nodded and frowned, then retelling her day with Sonata.
"Perhaps those two should not be so close." MBoss suggested, in which Voltaic retorted with "But that may make them want to hunt more."
"They need restriction."
"They need guidance."
"You do not have their respect."
"...I will earn it from them." he huffed, getting worked up again.
The ridgeback rubbed her face against his softly, trying to be affectionate. She saw the hatchlings do so, and she was recalled back to her own hatchling days. Voltaic did calm down, and he stared up at the Ridgeback. "You know just how to calm me down..." He trailed off, shifting his weight slightly. Arching his back, he reached behind his opposite wing and pulled out the now slightly tarnished Diamond Ring.
"I found this long ago...I have been saving it." Voltaic's voice was soft and he fumbled with it for a moment. "I knew it would be a nice addition to any hoard, and I hope..You would accept it. My
Charge." He lifted his head as he said the last bit, staring at her with intent. He had been thinking about this for the past few weeks, and the feelings only grew stronger each day. She had to know! This spring guardian had finally found his Charge.
Maggie shifted back slightly, taken back by the statement. She purred slightly, taking the diamond ring from him. "I am your charge? That is a once in a life time thing for Guardians. You are sure??" She questioned, a little embarrassed. But it was sweet, she had strong feelings for the male, even if she had raised him from hatching.
"Yes. I am certain."
The ridgeback nestled into Voltaic more and the duo lay like that for quite some time, admiring the lights in the Seering Room, the cool lake and each others company.
After a while, Maggies' mind drifted back to the current status of the Clan. She whispered to the Guardian, "I am able to bear children soon." and left it at that, purring a little harder as she blushed. If they were able to have a successful nest, their lair might be big enough to eventually divide into sections, and thus ensuring a larger clan and more blood to mix, to allow for even further expansions.

Later that night, Garrik snuck out.
