Hello everyone!! I am Dragonmaster, but you can call me DM if you want. I am an amateur writer who loves writing fan fictions, and this one is for Danny Phantom. It's about a young girl named Hannah who gets the same powers as Danny and needs his help to figure them out. And yes, I am going to ship them. Don't get me wrong, normally I'm SamXDanny all the way, but for the sake of the story, Imma go with HannahXDanny. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! And BTW, I only except CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Any negative things you saw can and will be ignored.

(I do not own Danny Phantom. All characters (except the ones I make up) belong to Butch Hartman)

Chapter 1: Lost

Hannah's POV

As I walked down the path, it was hard not to jump at every noise. My dad, brothers, and I decided to go camping in the mountains of Wisconsin, but it ended up with me getting separated from them on a hike and getting lost. "Why couldn't I have grabbed a compass before I left the campsite?" I asked myself. I was also mentally kicking myself for not even grabbing the map. I let out a sigh and kept moving. Suddenly, I heard a twig snap. I jumped and turned to face where the noise came from. Not ten feet away was what looked like a giant malformed bear, but something was odd. It was ...glowing? I didn't stop to think about it before I took off into the woods, the bear hot on my heels. The branches and shrubs grabbed at my clothing, slowing me down, while the bear was plowing down vegetation left and right to get to me. Just then, the trees ended suddenly, leaving me stumbling out onto a freshly manicured lawn. I reached my arms out to break my fall, cutting my hands on a few rocks. I looked up to see a large mansion in front of me. As I made my way to my feet again, the bear behind me came to a screeching halt. It took one look at the mansion and ran away. It puzzled me why a house would scare a ferocious animal like that, but I was beyond the point on caring. It was either mansion in the middle of nowhere, or wild glowing bear. Easy choice. I walked up to the doors and gave a light knock, careful not to aggravate the cuts on my hands. No one answered. I tried again. This time it only took a second or two for someone to answer. It was a man that looked to be in his mid-40s with white hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. He wore a black tux that was darker that midnight. Something about him was familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. "And what might we have here?" He asked in a suave voice. "No young girl should be out this late. Please come in." He led me inside, closing the large door behind me. He had me sit down in what appeared to be the living room and explain to him what I was doing out here while he bandaged my hands. "You poor girl." He said once the story was told. "Your father must be so worried about you. But he shouldn't see you so dirty. How about you go clean up in the bathroom while I call the ranger station. It's the second door on your right." He turned to walk down the hall before I could even reply. I went to the bathroom and locked the door. I turned to the mirror and proceeded to pick leaves and twigs out of my hair. I then searched through the drawers an found a hair brush. I smoothed out the tangles in my black locks, for about the millionth time stopping to admire my signature blue-dyed hair tips. The dark blue just looked so good next to the obsidian black of my hair. I snapped out of my moment of vanity and washed my face and arms, which were covered in dirt. By the time I left the bathroom, twenty minutes had passed. I found the man, who I still could not recognize, sitting by the fireplace reading a book. "Ah, Hannah my darling." He said, standing up when he saw me. "You look much better. But I'm afraid I have some bad news. Apparently a large tree has fallen and blocked the road, making it impossible for the rangers to come and get you. With it being so late, they will have to wait until morning to remove the tree. But for now, you can stay the night. I certainly don't mind." I bowed my head. "Thank you, sir." I said. He took me upstairs to a guest bedroom. "You can stay here tonight." The room was very large, with a king size canopy bed and desk with a mirror. "However," the man continued. "While you are here, I could use your help." I turned to face him. "What is it sir? You've been so kind to me, it's the least I could do." He smiled at me. "You see, I'm an avid scientist, and a potentially revolutionary machine I am working on is nearing completion. All I have to do is test it. It's a two person job, but my usual assistant has been gone for weeks, down south caring for her sick uncle. I would be very pleased if you would help me." I nodded vigorously. "I'll help you sir." He smiled again. "Wonderful. We'll start in the morning. For now, get some rest." He closed the door. As I turned to get ready for bed, I didn't see the flash of light coming from under the door or hear the dark chuckle coming from the hallway.
