To those of you who find this thread and are unfamiliar with my comic, this is a fanart contest that I'm hosting for [i]A Comic About Miths[/i]. (Just don't be gross and we'll be fine) - It has to be in by 11:59pm (server time) on November 14, or I will not count it. - The art has to submitted to this thread. Any art on the main comic thread won't be counted. - Be nice to other people. If you're rude about someone else's art, I will have to disqualify your art. (Or if you don't submit art, I'll just be very upset at you. Don't be a jerk.) - Have fun! This isn't a very large contest, and it's mainly just to make a hiatus less boring. I'm sorry, I have zero drawing skills and I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to enter this competition. :(

Do we draw a character from the comic? Do the dragon characters count?

@baubleBee question though -- will traditional and digital be judged together or separately? i know in art judging contests i've contributed to here, we've done them separately simply because of some unfair benefits each has over the other, so what do you think?

You can draw whatever you want from the comic! Just for reference, though, the two dragons in the comic are Zircon and Echeveria.

Ooh, that is a good point! I have done both traditional and digital art, and so I know that there are certain things that each can do that the other can't. Thanks for bringing this up so I can adjust the judging.
I can only really give out one first prize, given the actual prize, but I'll probably divide the second and third places into traditional and digital categories. When I pick first prize, I will take into account the differences between digital and traditional, since I have experience with both. :> How does that sound?
