TOPIC | Help me name my city!
My lore centers around a city in Light (even though I'm not there yet) but it doesn't have a name. As you can see, this a problem. I'll give a [item=Hippogriff] to the person who comes up with the name I choose. A summary of city for inspiration:

Hippogriffs are more social creatures than their gryphon cousins. Their ability to consume meat and grain means that more of them may occupy the same territory.

Danish, Norweigan, or Swedish for lighthouse. So it fits the Light theme, as well as the coatal city. Lighthouses are built near well-trafficked dangerous waters/shores, so it also fits "hub for any kind traveler you can think of". Lightkeepers also have to row out and save sinking boats who've crashed on the shores, which might bring in some weirdness.

Pharos! That's great! Sending you a Hippogriff!
@WildRose42Well, I'm not great at naming, but a couple could be Litore (beach in Latin) or Ortus (sunrise in Latin, seemed somewhat fitting). I dunno. Good luck! ^-^
