Crack.

You tried to break through the hard shell of your egg. It was a tiresome effort. But the voices of your parents pushed you to keep trying.

Crack!

You managed to break the shell, causing you to tumble out. Ice-like shards were scattered everywhere.
You look at your parents. Your father was a deep blue Wildclaw, and your mother a colorful Coatl. They both seemed concerned as they looked at your drying white feathers.

But they decided to name you. What will be your name?

"Cheeseboard"
My name will be Auorelis.

Am I male or female?

After some time, your family decides to name you Auorelis. They call you their "daughter", though you aren't quite sure what that is.

Looking around you, you are filled with a sense of wonder, with the soft but cold stuff around you that was white as you were. And the branches that around your nest too. Your parents are busy talking to each other, seemingly unsure what to do with you. You could probably explore this wonderful new world!

You wander off from your parents. There so many dragons here! And most of them look like you and Mom, but in different colors.

You stop in front of a group of Coatls conversing with each other. There is so much snow around here, and you started wondering what was under it. And so you began digging.
While you were digging, you started hearing the big Coatls mumble.
"Is that Hummin's new hatchling?"
"Ugh, she's so pale, it's disgraceful!"
You don't know what they're talking about, but it sounded bad.

Before you could dwell on it, you feel something hard. There's hard brown stuff under all that snow. And a blue stone that's kinda transparent and shiny.

You eagerly pick up the pretty blue stone. You can feel its cold weight in your tiny hands. You'll treasure this forever!
"Auorelis? Aurorelis?"
You look up to see your mother. She seemed to look concerned, especially with the big Coatls giving the two of you disgusted looks. But you're hungry now, and your mom might have food.
