The dragon is from fire so maybe something 2 do with that? Sorry for my messy art :P Thanks in advance!

perhaps the dragon is crawling out of/standing up in the lava? :o i'm unsure about proportions, sorry!

It looks really good so far, I love the way you draw wings! I think the proportions are okay although maybe the neck is a little tiiiiny bit too long?

The pose is interesting and fun but the balance of it might be a bit off like they'd fall forward.

As for a background, they look like they'e protecting something so maybe they're in front of a cave or their home? They also look quite fierce, maybe they're standing in a ring of fire? Just some suggestions, you don't have to use them :D

( also I'm assuming the ribcage is supposed to be so pronounced?)
I hope you kinda understand what I'm trying to say...sorry I'm really bad with words and english isn't my first language ugh if you want I could try to draw over it to show what I mean? >>; I mean my knowledge of proportions is pretty much only "I think this looks like it makes sense" but I just figured I'd offer :')

@NightRising oooh I like the idea of him stood around/in some lava, I originally had him spewing fire but wasn't sure how to incorporate it into his surroundings. Thanks for the help! :)
