I haven't drawn my dragons yet so I wanted to start a thread where I can drop the sketches I do of my babs!

Starting with one of my boy Ogmios! He's old and cold and so very full of mold.
His lore is based on that of his namesake (parties interested in making their dragons past or present followers of his are welcome to give me a nudge!) and although he doesn't have much apparel yet, I quite like his look with what he has already.
Hope to drop more draws here soon!

Here's today's doodle, my coatl hunter/marksman Alaunus! Most well-known for being a devil-may-care type who is still taking bets on when Cativolcus, the transcriptionist, will keel over and die from overworking himself.
He think it's absolutely hilarious.

This one is the previously-mentioned transcriptionist, Cativolcus. Old but not full of mold. One of the oldest in my clan in age and seniority in the clan proper, but not interested in leading. Just let him write write write.
As an aside--would anyone be interested in some doodles of their dragons similar to these?

These are super nice and have fantastic detail for sketches. I can only imagine what you do with coloring!

Thanks! I'm actually still on a learning curve with coloring--I used to do colored pencil work but just recently switched to digital, and I'm still figuring out the ropes!
For digital sketches my process is pretty standard I would think. I work in SAI and do an initial shapes layout using a very light brush. Then I darken up the brush a bit and add rough detail on the same layer. And finally I add another layer where I go in with a dark/black pen brush and tighten it all up to something cohesive and coherent.

Bumping this, no new art to show yet though--I was hoping folks could drop a dragon in here for a free sketch over the next couple days! Will be done as warmups before I get to doing commission work.
