Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit down today and need a break from my other projects, so ping me with a dragon that has a bio/lore and I'll give you a 10-12 line poem about them. For Yuki:

The evening snowflakes are falling.
In the hush, she walks there;
Under her talons the ice-violets grow.
In spite of sight, she is aware.
She has known the beauty of the icefields
In the gentle sweep of the wind,
In the call of distant shore-birds,
In the shifting snow’s refrain.
Within every twisting blizzard’s eye
She comes to mind;
This dragon kind.

For Aether:

Born of morning sky she flies
And questing eyes do spy her there:
The golden banners follow her
Though enemies won’t dare.
Beware,
Her oath comes through gritted teeth,
She will remember a family
And if one comes between her path -
There, the sword,
The light’s wrath.

For Tancred:

Ghosts in the shadows come take my hand
I woke up in a faraway land
I feel the breath rust in my chest
I worry at my hands rests a mess
A torrent of unwilling strangers appear
Tell none of them of what I fear;
Remember the long night, the flyaway fade
The onset of crows in the land of the plague?
Come to me, mine,
And all those ghosts, divide

For Mirk:

I, the steadfast
With all the flowers gone
I stand alone in a land of stone
With talons heavy of mem’ries old
I stand and guard the wasted throne
I, the last
Will guard my child
Against all the bitter sticks and stones
I, the first, and I alone

For Fulminata:

Lightning bracered, stormcloud racer
Watch the way I dive and twist
The Shifting Expanse, it knows my risks

The twisting clouds, I shout aloud
There is nothing safer here;
The growl of thunder croon in my ear

Head of the guard, I unmarred
Unmoored in the sky,
For I will not die

Til my tale are spun
The Stormshroud Guard I will run
Til lighting hits earth and all are undone

The pull of arcane currents.

For Kai:
Solemn, you strode among the trees
Ignoring the fox-lights, the fireflies
Until you stumbled into a clearlight glade
Where you saw her dancing there:
Born of wildfire and cold northern air -
You paused and stayed awhile.
So long you kept to the edges
That although the morning light
Could blind your shadows,
Still you stepped forward,
Past your own night.
