So to celebrate this wonderful festive day, I decided today will be the day where I will announce the UGLY DRAGON APPRECIATION THREAD-COLOR-WHEEL EDITION that's right, from now until the end of the week after Sunday rollover this thread will be dedicated to showing off the newly hatched babies, who may not be what their owners wanted, but have stolen their hearts anyways. Thanks to your help with the clothes and the advice, I was able to to do what needed to be done. Now on to why I'm writing this A couple of days back, I had purchased this little cutie [img]http://orig04.deviantart.net/84aa/f/2015/072/9/d/image_by_dxclove-d8li9t5.jpg[/img] And the one thing that seemed to pop into everyone's head was [i]why[/i]. why would I spend my hard earn money on something that looks like someone dunked half his body in another dragons up-chuck. Well I'm here to tell you why. when I was first looking through the thread that presented this little baby to me I no had intentions on buying the little baby. But something changed my mind... As I read through the thread, comments such as "That snapper is terrifying" "eww it looked like it vomited on itself" Seem to pop up a lot But I think one of the best ones was when I offered to buy the little guy and The first thing to be said was "Omg srs? ahhaha ugh it's the worst XD" But I still bought him, and as I looked at this little guy sitting in this lair, this adorable cutie that everyone had doubts on or laughed at, I began to wonder to myself why on earth had I bought him. Well there's a reason for my buying of the little guy.... On FR it isn't at all uncommon to see people exalt dragons for being "ugly". To get rid of the none to popular ones, the ones who's colors and patterns would look better if they co-existed with a murder scene or the back of a McDonald's/ KFC kitchen. And since people have their opinions on what is cute or not you can't really say anything. But What bothers me is... No one takes the time, to appreciate how adorable, and ungodly [i]cute[/i] these dragons can be...if they were just given a little love and affection. Take my little Charlie for example [img]http://orig04.deviantart.net/84aa/f/2015/072/9/d/image_by_dxclove-d8li9t5.jpg[/img] One person would look at him and go "oh my how ugly" or "eww" for that matter, and most people would agree. And the baby would be exalted on sight, Or worse, would be scattered or gened up to look more [b][i]presentable[/i][/b] Now if you are me you look at things a little differently.... You may see a dragon who looks like they vomited on themselves, or a dragon that rolled into the pink stuff that's in most meat products in a restaurant I see a baby dragon who played in strawberry/orange frosting....... And that's why I bought him, I bought him to prove a point, to prove that even the least presentable or "ugly dergs" can look adorable and sweet if you put a little love into them. And that's what I did. Using almost all my money and what [b]little[/b] bit I had stowed away, I went to the market place and auction house and began to look for clothes for the little guy, something he could wear once He grew up . It wasn't easy, as much as strawberry/orange frosting looks cute, it hard to find clothen that goes with the color xD And that's where that ones thread came from. On one of the threads here, I asked to burrow clothes accents and just General stuff to see what combos I could come up with for the little guy. What would look good with what and so on and so on. (Yes now you now the mystery of the thread xD ) And thanks to the stuff from @feeshykette @reddestred and a few other people I was able to find a great combo that not only looked good for him, but also brought out his sweet adorable curious side. But Right now he was looking sweet So let this thread be a lesson to ye, don't judge a dragon by his/her appearance. Before you do give them a chance, and who knows, you may end up with a sweet pie like Charlie

Awww, he looks so adorable now! I see that you have finally picked an outfit for him, and a quite fitting one at that!

Thanks :3 that frigging breastplate cost me 17k in the market place but it does look good on him, even though I'm broke im happy with how he turned out
