Not terribly recent, but Wargar was bought at fodder price. :P She wasn't exactly "fodder", though, seeing as at the time I had no leveled dragons to train anyone with.

I mean, basically all of my non G1 permas were bought for fodder price, but at the time that's not what I bought them for so it seems this is the only one I bought that I have. He's a bit more spoiled than a lot of my other Dragons, tho; got him a usermade accent and he's got a full set of the cats [s]I mean I did win them in an OOF raffle but shhh[/s].
As for self-bred Dragons that were from fodder nests, uh, well, there are these siblings, mostly because their very existence is statistically improbable (especially the Spiral), so I felt compelled to keep them simply for that reason (of course the fact that they look nice helps lol). Cyle ended up with iridescent from his father instead of the tiger of his mother. He was one of the first imperials I ever bred (back when they were still semi-expensive) but I kept him because of his lucky gene. :) Now nearly 4 years later he's one of my favorite dragons in my whole lair~
