So, I have this breeding pair, and I have already put a lot of money into gening them up. Although I must admit, butterfly for the gal was a total inpulse buy.
The plan was to rent my bro's plague nest for them, so that the eyes matched the reds in toxin, but the babies didn't sell very well and the bro moved to light, so I just gave up and started breeding them in my own fire nest...
I kinda wanna give Norkul a gem secondary too, so that more hatchlings had butterfly.
The boy currently looks like this
Giving him butterfly isn't an option to me, cuz' it gets covered by thylacine stripes too much.
Alloy is good, but it's still too red on the skydancer babies
Shimmer is nice, neither too purple, nor too red, but I have the feeling that shimmer and iri are currently the least valuable gem genes on the market, so...
And then there's the BEE that matches the accents on the black skink perfectly, but this way there's nothing left to match his red eyes ._.
