He uses his dull green coloring to hide among the moss and algae and murk in the swamp and snap up any hatchlings that wander too close to the edge of the water...

That webcomic is one I am trash for-- But hey, if Jekyll and Hyde count, shouldn't Dr. Moreau the vivisectionist count? I loved reading The Island of Dr Moreau...

Yes Dr. Moreau does count. I've never read the Glass Scientists but I'm a sucker for anything that draws from classic lit or mythology.

Read it. It draws from classic literature, and it's just a band of misfit 'mad' scientists in the Victorian Era. Not to mention one of the characters is a werewolf, and it's amazing art to top it all off... I highly doubt you'd regret it.
