So this is one of the newest members of my lair courtesy of my progens. I love his colors but to make him presentable, I would have to gene him up. This is what I'm wanting to do with him:

With this setup, I'm looking at about 1700G [i]minimum[/i] (that's if I don't add a breed change as well). I'm debating whether or not to go through with this project. That's an awful lot to spend on a 2nd gen dragon.
Is he worth that? If I could find a mate with like colors, would anyone be interested in their offspring? Please, tell me what you guys think. I'm at a loss here.

Or maybe you could find just treasure genes for him?

This girl was a triple basic when I bought her. She was a massive impulse buy since I didn't think she should be exalted and then Opal came out and I just had to give it to her. I say if you really want him and know you're gonna keep him for a while go for it!

these three were all triple basic when we got them back in the day. they've been regened so many times to count. keep in mind that while they are 6 digits [i]now [/i]for a very long time they were just dragons who had slightly above average value--no gen 1s, nothing too significant about either of them.
they've probably eaten through over 20kg of gems. >_> probably closer to 30kg. but we still can't help spoiling them--even now. if you love a dragon and feel very attached to them then it is always worth it. even if others may not see the same way--it is YOUR dragon and your opinion that matters!
not to mention with a progen offspring... you can only get those from, well, your progens.
