Dragon Share

...Your favorite dragon(s)! We’ll never admit it, but deep down we know that no dragon is perfect. Even your most precious of precious children has some sort of flaw to them, no matter how minor it may be. This is the thread to share them. The rules are simple: Name one thing you like and one thing you dislike about your favorite dragon(s). No more than 2 dragons max so there’s minimal clutter. She was my dream dragon project that started around April Fools’ and wasn’t done until July! [b]One thing I like:[/b] Her colors! The whole reason I rented nests and bought several dragons to breed for her was so I could get an Eldritch/Eggplant/Pear dragon. Black, purple, and green are all favorite colors of mine and they look even nicer together. Her color combo is still so rare that even to this day (or at least last time I checked), only 4 dragons have it: Her, her father (who I also own), her brother (exalted), and an unrelated Pearlcatcher (exalted). [b]One thing I dislike:[/b] After all that hard work breeding her, she looks incredibly plain in icon form. None of her nice colors show very well on her face due to the smallness of Ridgeback heads, and she doesn’t wear much apparel up there besides a crown. Very disappointing, but she’s still a gorgeous gal! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=22403437] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/224035/22403437_350.png[/img] [/url] Next up is Dosvidaniya, who essentially serves as the “mascot” for my lair (even though she isn’t really all too important lore-wise). [b]One thing I like:[/b] I’ll have to go with colors again. Dosvidaniya was born before the Color Expansion, so at the time she was a mix of my favorite colors just like Rasputin. Ironic that Rasputin’s colors ended up just being the next colors over on the wheel! [b]One thing I dislike:[/b] I don’t really like Royal as much as I used to anymore. With colors like Eggplant and Nightshade existing now, I’ve grown less fond of the more blue-ish hue Royal has. Her Secondary gene also plays a part though, because I hate the weird random light spots she has! Unfortunately I was one of the people who used Jupiter and Saturn too early and ended up disliking the revised version. Before, her wings almost had a neat tentacle-like design, but now they just seem weird. Rasputin pulls it off better again because of her darker wing color, but eventually some day I hope to find a Secondary that will look nice with Dos’s bright wings and fit her Beetlejuice-ian aesthetic! It's just tiny things but I noticed and it bothers me so much or there are apparel pieces that I would like to add but can't, again because of the layering lmao [s]Maybe I should actually take some stuff off he can barely breathe under all of that lmao[/s]

Hes my proudest fodder save... What i dont like... I wish he was a bit easier to dress, it took me months to complete the right outfit.

Dark colors, yet almost reflective scale. [b]Dislike:[/b] Well, my ideas for him also include an interesting origin that essentially breaks all biological ties to parents. So, personally, I would [i]like[/i] to have him be a Generation One dragon, but, well, I shouldn't have to mention the likelihoods I will find a male triple obsidian directly out of an egg...

One thing I like: His colors look amazing together and it makes him look like some sort of dark Lord of such. Not to mention, Brick Butterfly is my favourite combo, and he is the only active dragon with his colors (there is a second imperial female but she's exalted) One thing I dislike: THYLACINE. I hate thylacine with a burning passion and he had to get ir. Luckily I his it with his apparel, and he's on list of: Needs a tert gene change.

At least for me ;) And ofcourse, he is my first hatched derg! On my very first day on flight rising I bought his parents and I've had them ever since. They've had a few other nests but none of the hatchlings is as perfect as my gorgeous pirate boy! [b]Dislike:[/b] His name. When he hatched I didn't know he would turn out to be so important to me, and I also didn't know a good name for him. So I just gave him the simple name 'Captain' and after that I just forgot about him for a while (shame on me!)
