Dragon Share

I know I'm relatively new to FR, but after a few outfit projects (see my lair except Helyer and Kajatie), I'm running out of inspiration! [b] Show me your original and well-dressed dragons that you're truely proud of![/b] [b] And tell me how you are inspired![/b] Here's one of mine! She gets picked all the time in the Prettiest/Best Outft etc etc threads! She was the first dragon I ever bought on FR, I had to scatter her twice (got extremely lucky the second time, hurray!), and regened her a little (just spines and seraph, pretty cheap considering). So after I feel in love with her again, it's easy to pull an outfit out of my hat. Anyway, I want a tribal feel to her, so I choice the wind chime accent (which goes amazingly well with her colors, got lucky AGAIN), and I just kinda stumped within the apparels, the good thing about being relatively new is that you don't get restricted by cliches and sets. The favrorite part of her outfit is the basket! I love that part so much (?) And here's an outfit I finished today, you can clearly see less originality here, sigh. I don't tend to dress up my dragons too much; I like to let their natural beauty shine through, and mostly rely on UMAs otherwise. Mostly I get inspired by thinking about how the dragon's personality is or what they do for a living :) Sometimes its just the colours, which would fit perfectly to a certain apparel set or stuff like that ^-^ I just throw stuff at them, trying everything out, that could kinda look good, even if I'm convinced, that it would look awful, I've proven myself wrong from time to time :) I also like to build an outfit around an accent or a skin :) [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=14536850] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/145369/14536850_350.png[/img] [/url] One of those proven wrong cases, I wouldn't have thought, that the accent looked good on her, but she was picked more than one times for her outfit in those dragon above you threads ^-^ [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=4028532] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/40286/4028532_350.png[/img] [/url] I grew tired of his colours, but due to nostalgia, I couldn't sell him, so I put a skin on him and it inspired me to this battle monk/mage outfit :) [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=9593014] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/95931/9593014_350.png[/img] [/url] Sometimes a beautiful dragon doesn't need a lot to shine bright ^-^ Sometimes less is more, so don't be afraid, to put only a few things on a dragon :D [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=9416927] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/94170/9416927_350.png[/img] [/url] And sometimes cluttering is the exact thing you need ^-^ [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=38446483] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/384465/38446483_350.png[/img] [/url] My newest dressing project, she still needs the Woodtrail and a Katana, and than she's finished and I'm totally happy with her look :) And I had a hard time at first but just as I said, I threw stuff at her, until I was content :) Even had to scrap another idea and start from the beginning, 'cause it absolutely wouldn't work out ^-^ Most of the dragons I dressed have an outfit I like a lot, so feel free to take a stroll through my lair? EDIT: Oh and if I have absolutely no clue how to dress a dragon, I use [url=https://items.kanojo.de/index.php?#]this site[/url] here, searching for apparel, that share the colours with the dragon in question and mostly it helps me come up with an outfit I like, or at least an idea what I want the dragon to look like ^-^
