So far I've fully completed two kids, Carmine and Maya! Carmine is still in need of a full set of gold sylvan pieces (why @ me once again) and an appropriate accent, but Maya is Perfect,

goodness, i'd love to have an all gen1 lair but my sentimental heart doesn't allow that :<
10kg worth of eggs sounds... heavenly, but i have terrible luck too. ;v; gen1s are just outright painful but, so worth it after you gene them up...
that being said, those gen1s are so pretty! maya is perfect, i love bee and capsule with that accent of his, and carmine is just wonderful too-- gold+red+white always has me weak. good luck with jieun and amet (who has a lovely ID too), they'll be so worth it!!

Maya is gorgeous, and the accent only adds to it.
I actually have a G1/oldie lair (only one oldie currently unless you count my 5-digit progens), so I know the pain. I have tons of projects to complete but I have a few that are done or nearing that threshold. I'm currently prioritizing any that need WC or Coatl scrolls, which is the (sad) majority of my lair.
I recently turned Isis into a Coatl, so I'm making progress.

Good luck! I decided to join the gen1 only hoarders shortly after returning from my hiatus a few years ago... so many scars on mah wallet from over the time but tots worth it. ;^;
