[url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=14678087] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/146781/14678087_350.png[/img] [/url] Revenant died in the Scarred Wasteland, and foul necrotic magic seeped into her corpse and brought her back to life as a zombie. But the same magic that keeps her alive is slowly tearing her apart.

@Grimmer You've got a lich, a Frankenstein, a White Walker, A dragon Priest, and a Spirit. Lucky me, I have my own lich, several spirits, an Ancient, and then a Reaper himself. He accidentally turned himself into a lich when he tried to save himself from dying and jumped into another dragon's body. The process of this and then going back, plus the magic he needed to do to get it to work at all, with exotic magic from an underworld, restructured his soul, turning him into a lich. He doesn't seem able to die anymore and his magic is amplified even further. His ability to perceive and manipulate/communicate with spirits is also empowered. He ferries souls between Sornieth and various other planes of existence. He seems able to carry souls into both Aethers and Nethers, which is different from most reapers which carry them to one or the other. He is quite passive and doesn't do any harm if he can help it. He isn't even supposed to be in solid form, but his curiosity got the better of him. He is the only spirit of the dead actually. The others weren't formed from the living either. Spirits that come from once living things are called deathborne, but none of my dragons are that, as they are rare and often crazy. Then there is this ancient horror. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=35989099] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/359891/35989099_350.png[/img] [/url] Corypheus here has been around since the second age, but he's been trapped inside a border realm known as the Veil for several millennia, asleep. Recently, when he awoke, he was thrown back into Sornieth. His homeland is long gone and years of corruption and despair have twisted his spirit. Now, he personifies pride and arrogance. He seeks to re-enter the Veil again by any means, awake this time, so that he may utilize the limitless energy within it for his own purposes. Mostly remaking the world in his own image and pure spite and hatred for everything. He also can't die. He jumps from body to body when he dies.

@Grimmer I love your first two - what you already had down in their bios was intriguing to read! Do you do anything with their hatchlings? Here's a couple of my guys - Eon & Ava are kind of in a gray area, they're not necessarily ghosts, but are similar to wandering souls. They have no discernible start, and no foreseeable end, and have been haunting a vast expanse for an unknowable amount of time. He has no clear motive, and it's uncertain of his intentions. @Grimmer I like to justify undead Plague dragons as being so determined to survive, they cheated death itself to prove themselves. Emperors and mindless zombies ended up losing their selves in the process, so they didn't really "survive." However, if you were clever or powerful enough to become a lich, a spirit, a necromancer, anything to keep holding on... Back in her hometown, Maracola suffered a fatal accident in her workshop that resulted in a terrible mess. In desperation, her mother turned to Famine's dark magic, hoping that the witch-mayor of the Masque Village could bring her daughter back. The results were...unexpected. She doesn't seem to remember her own death, and remains as morbidly chipper as she was before. She remains in the Masque Village today as a toymaker, cheerfully unaware of her condition. He showed up in town one day, speaking in a strange language nobody knows. He seems to understand everyone just fine, but he only listens to Famine. aah thank you! those two are my newest (and most expensive) pair but they're worth it. a few of their hatchlings have already sold (who doesnt like undead valentines dragons lol) but i didn't write anything for the babs. i figure whoever buys them might want to write their own lore, but maybe for their next nest i'll write them a few sentences before selling them...
Eon and Ava are so beautiful! and your ghosts are great, they're so well-dressed! also im a sucker for spooky imps so of course i love yours

Their kingdom was overrun during a war, and Heurodys nearly turned into an Emperor after their kids were all killed. Templeton's magic saved her, but he was killed in the process, too. He's now a ghost, and she's now some sort of plant-merged zombie.
