For some reason, most of her enemies end up dead before managing to outright challenge her and the ones (un)lucky to survive tell stories of constant whispers following their every step.[/i][/columns] [columns] [i]Saoirse, a dragon claiming to be able to predict fortunes, her tarot cards are never seen far from her claws and she has bedazzled more than one dragon with her sleight of hands. She claims to be a spirit of sorts and wraps herself in shadows until only wisps of magic remain in the air, the sky alight with fires, deep blue and ghastly green dancing in the night...[/i][/columns]

yes!!! i love the shadow aesthetic so much - it's definitely one of my favorites. still remember blowing nearly all of my money on skins either last year or the one before that. [columns=2] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=21311398] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/213114/21311398_350.png[/img] [/url] [nextcol] first would obviously be my shadow rep, [b]trickmurk[/b]! as much as i adore nocturnes, i admittedly didn't have much of an idea of what to do with him originally. i'll be honest, the new bramble mantle has helped him a lot, but nonetheless i'm pretty satisfied with what i've achieved, especially with the little glowy blue accents! lore-wise, i've had a little more fun with him than most of my other festival dragons - the idea of him being a silent guardian, particularly ironic for, well, a shadow rep, has captured my heart several times over, and so he holds a special little place in my heart! [/columns] [columns=2] then, next would be my beloved assassin, [b]akatsuki[/b]! perhaps some may recognize her from back during the notn theme week, but akatsuki's a dragon i especially love. she can pull off virtually any look (she's had blue wings for a while!) and do it well, and she's practically redeemed the entire rogue set for me. she's also one of my dragons to pull out when somebody says gembond is a bad gene ;3 lore-wise, she might not stand out as much as others, but her backstory of being raised among nocturnes is one i'm very fond of, and definitely one i'll explore further, someday! [nextcol] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=16228559] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/162286/16228559_350.png[/img] [/url] [/columns] [columns=2] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=21519951] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/215200/21519951_350.png[/img] [/url] [nextcol] last is [b]furuta[/b]! yes, yes, i know - he has ice eyes. fact is, they just look really good, and trust me, no dragon fits shadow better than this boy. he's a trickster of the more malicious kind, because nothing matters but his enjoyment, and a fairly decent con artist to boot. his accent fits that perfectly - it's one of my favorite festival accents, even now - as does his familiar, which i rushed out to get as soon as it was released. he's also fairly special for a different reason - true to his namesake, he's a leap day baby! so i'm prooobably never getting rid of him. aside from the fact that he's just really, really pretty, of course - hah.
