Originally I was fairly ambivalent towards stained. 1200 gems for a gene that just tints a dragon? Seemed a bit of a waste. I eventually saw the light when I realised the effect it had on triples - specifically, orange ones. Orange can be a difficult colour to work with, and my orange beauty wasn't really as orange as I wanted her to be. So, out of curiosity, I scried her with stained. And then I immediately bought it. From that moment on, I knew stained could do magical things even beyond triples. It all went mildly downhill from there. Rose stained is a thing of beauty and I do not regret ever making her a project.

It does seem sort of a waste if you're not a big fan of it. BUT DAMN, HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THAT ORCA DRAGON? I don't usually like cry/face very much but when it's muted like that? So pretty!
