Hello!
Thank you in advance- I always seem to need help with these "tiny" decisions XD

First:

Does this need to happen? Which one do I settle on? I have sooo many gene projects already :(

Here's a list, and I haven't even updated it in a bit- it's actually bigger! :O

The other question: How do you decide on your next gem gene recipient?
The gem genes are the hardest to settle on. It takes time to save up for em, and then when I have enough, I kinda freeze up on making up my mind, even with help, because it feels like such a big decision and what if I change my mind after the fact! and I probably won't make the spent money up again if I sell! And worse, maybe a better gene will come along afterwards!! XD

Yes it does!! She reminds me of sunset over the mountains. I'm really partial to that first scry, the snapper with opal.

I like the guardian scry the best. I think the colors balance better without the strong purple from striation, and guardians are also one of my favorite breeds.

As for deciding who gets the genes, I usually set up a mini tournament among my project dragons. I compare them all to each other and ask myself, if I can only gene one of these dragons ever, which one do I most want to see finished? The winner gets all project funds until it's completed, at which point I'm allowed to choose a new dragon to work on.

I like the guardian scry the best. I think the colors balance better without the strong purple from striation, and guardians are also one of my favorite breeds.

Especially if you frame it in the way you did (if this one only ever). On one hand I can see that making it even harder to commit to/scarier. On the other though, maybe it would help me feel more sure the gems wouldn't be wasted. I think I do have some I would keep, even if they remained triple Basics XD) Thanks for the vote! @sky09 That's a really interesting idea. Especially if you frame it in the way you did (if this one only ever).

That first Snap is gorgeous!
The Guardian's secondary does look beautiful with a toned-down color, but that circle on the wing clashes with the stripes to me.
