TOPIC | Final Boss of Your Lair

What it says on the tin. Who would the last boss be if your dragons were video game characters? And heck, why not post potential boss music, too, if applicable. Let's see what the collective final form of Flight Rising turns out to be. For my lair, it'd depend on the lore arc. Because I'm one of those people with lore arcs. In my lore, she's considered a "Not-Dragon," which means she is a summoned entity that just takes on the form of a dragon because that's how her conjurer could envision her. She has a lot of twisted, alien, and eldritch talents and--at one point--went rogue and nearly wiped out all of the clans in my lair. I kind of like the idea of this as a boss theme for her, since it's very intense, fast, and bizarre. Second arc (sequel, I guess?) would be Elder. Not very high energy, though. The only music I could really envision for him is the theme of his namesake, The Elder God. [b]So, yeah. For my lair, it'd depend on the lore arc. Because I'm one of those people with lore arcs.

So, yeah. Post your bosses.

Uff, interesting question and I had to think e few minutes about it XD" Most of my dragons are fierce but only if needed so normally they are just swimming around ... derping most of the time to. Just your lovely helpful piratey dragons from nearby. So Rungholt wont be the final boss ... at least if you don't touch his family. Otherwise he WILL destroy everything in his way - including himself btw. Rackham is pretty much the same. Harm his children or his friends and you are done but otherwise he will just derping and flirting around ... trying to fish with an anchor and stuff like this. The true boss would be him: Vassago, my blind seer, a powerful spellcaster and for the most part the schemer behind everything. His ability to see the future very clearly help him to manipulate others - and yes he even mainpulate the crew at the moment. He want to achiev his goal and he will do everything to get there.

I'm very boring; the final boss would be Pandora, my progen. While not the strongest (that title goes to Belial), Pandora would be the one to out-strategize her opponents and then wipe the floor with them. Belenus thrives in chaos, has caused most of the bad things that have happened in my clan's lore, and his morality is, uh...Screwy. His ultimate goal is to level land for his own shadowy paradise, a place of no return for those born outside his element, and to continue expanding onward from there. He's also manipulating the brother of a past victim of his into seeking revenge on the wrong dragon. Fun fun fun. Oh yeah, and here's a little inspiration music, for good measure. Of COURSE this is his battle theme. While it's been a long while since I played a Paper Mario game, Dimentio was one of his inspirations.

I have two lairs in my lore (my main lair and an Outpost), so I have to differentiate here. The Outpost is quite small at this point, so there would be only one boss: The Behemoth, aka Sandstorm, who is probably the tallest dragon in my clan: She's an absolute powerhouse that attacks with brute force and that can take quite a few hits. She likes to throw up ice shards and snow with her tail to stun her opponents, but most of the time she just relies on her pure strenght. She's a tank, a wall, an obstacle that's hard to pass, and her battle music would reflect this. I don't have a fitting song at hand right now though. As for my main lair, there'd be three bosses. First would be the former clan leader, Aria: She's small, but she wasn't called "Queen of the Marauders" for nothing! She is an incredibly powerful and cunning witch that would attack you with wide range ice attacks. Her favourite move is letting sharp ice spears rain from the sky, but she can also summon walls made of ice that act as a shield. Because she's small and agile she's a hard target and easy to miss, not to mention that she can easily hide underneath you if you're big enough. Her theme song would be fast paced and exciting, fitting her speed and unpredictability, with short calmer sequences when she seemingly disappears and you're left wondering where she'll strike next, like this song. The second boss would be my current leader, Barachiel, the Red Conqueror: She is the most powerful dragon in my lair - at least that's what everyone thinks. She single-handedly took over the whole clan and turned it into a terrifying force that conquered a large chunk of the Southern Icefield. She wields two elements, plague and wind, but can also use other, non-elemental magic as well as her physical strenght. She is extremely dangerous. Her theme song would sound intimidating and strong, and underline her sense of superiority, maybe like this or this. And then, finally, when you think you'd finally done it, the hidden final boss would emerge: Betelgeuse. She looks kind of silly and not really threatening at first, but she is the real antagonist here. She is the one that acts in the shadows and controls the entire clan like puppets. She isn't actually a dragon - she is an eldritch abomination that just pretends to be one to have fun. She put the entire lair under a spell, and once you look close enough, you will see hundreds of eyes and arms sticking out from the walls of the lair - that's the physical manifestation of her spell, as well as an extension of her own self. At this point it's likely that you're underneath her spell as well. She, too, has more arms and eyes than she should have, and the worst part is: she will smile like a maniac the whole time, laugh at you and start narrating the fight - she can alter reality just by speaking, so she could technically summon any kind of weapon or foe or even change the terrain of the battlefield, and of course manipulate any of your actions, so good luck. You have to find a way to shut her up first before being able to really fight her. I feel like her battle music should be beat up and also have a glimmer of (false) hope in it to celebrate how far you've come and to fool you into thinking that you have a chance at winning. Maybe something like this? Or something fast paced and desperate, that also brings her chaotic nature across: Maybe like this? I honestly can't really decide with this girl. [s]Plot point, my dragons live in a big tree that holds an Emperor[/s] I like to think that Sekk would be my final line of defence for Shal'anir. Not necessarily tied to the dragons within the clan, he protects the tree more than he does the clan itself. Most of the time he keeps his powers under wrap, but if he really needed to, I have no doubt he'd stand as the last defender for the clan. However, if Sekk fell, Nahtaivel would be the big bad to deal with. Kept in a deep slumber due to Shal'anir holding him there, if the last dragons defending the tree fall, Shal'anir can be weakened. Once the tree falls, Nahtaivel will awaken and then it's all awful. Cannot reccomend. He's probably super cranky about being imprisoned for so long.

The final boss of my lair would most likely be the Prophet herself. Sure, she'd never lay a claw on anyone of her own volition...but in this case, I feel she'd argue self defense.
