I don't usually make random threads like these because I need to have everything in order but I just simply have to point this out??
So I got a replacement for my good Seshat, right? And in the entire ruckus, I made this "simple" outfit for him and in the meantime I figured out that the layering on his waist was fantastic??
I mean, take a look at how well the tome and the Map Kit go together. None of them obscures the other and it looks realistic. The chain doesn't phase through the rope or the map itself.
Then, there's the Viridian Scale Tassets that also go really well with the kit colour-wise but the layering is honestly one of the most fitting things I've seen?? Again, none of them is being phased through and the cloth is the most impressive thing here. The way it's carefully spread right above the map looks just like map itself is making it bend and then go through the rope loop. Absolutely perfect, the perfectionist's side of me is pleased.
Then we also have that cutlass, how the rope perfectly coils right over it and then around the wing. It really looks like there's tension on the rope because of the cutlass and, my goodness, it's just so satisfying
The kiwi covers and the wing plates go really well together too imo.
