It has come to my attention that although we swoon and fall on our faces to get absolutely gorgeous dragons (trust me I've wasted many gems in this process) yet we never really talk about our ordinary dragons like our progenitors or first dragonets we've hatched and I think we should share them because they've been with us from the very beginning/are easily exalted to get more dragons or more space. I suppose this could be like a farewell chat when one must exalt them, or when one might want to sell a cute simple dragon as a last resort instead of selling them into a cycle of violence and bloodshed. Or y'know just a chat where beginners can share their beginnings and reflect or not feel like they are the only ones who don't have big glamorous dragons.

My favorite dragon (so far) which several of my friends call ugly but I like him and he just has this somber deep look to him that makes me think I'll become a dragon hoarder and probably never exalt/auction him (rip my lair space).

Aurorus, my random, really got the short end of the stick with Ice/Rust/Banana. I managed to make it work well enough, but I don't think anyone would go out of their way to buy a dragon that looks like this.

And finally, there's Aquilius. He was a gift, one of my first dragons. He actually does have the potential to be gorgeous if regened but somehow I think that just makes him more special for not being conventionally pretty. I could afford to regene him easily, but then he just wouldn't be Aquilius the dorky alchemist anymore.

This girl has probably one of the most fodderable gene+color combos, crim/crim/sand piebald/paint/[i]crackle.[/i] I picked her up two years ago for 10kt (which now seems unreasonably high for what was clearly meant to be fodder), which my newbie self though was an amazing deal for the prettiest dragon I had ever seen. And honestly, it was. I adore her. I can't imagine any other genes on her.
