Dragon Share

Okay, so I'll get right to it- I love old polytheism cultures. Gods/deities from the Greeks, Romans, Nordics, etc. Recently I decided to get/make some dragons based off of some gods and the two I have so far are both on Nordic gods/deities. [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/461074/46107389_350.png[/img] This girl here is Glod, the Norse fire giantess that's actually a daughter of Odin's and a light elf named Alvör. (In the lore, her father's name is Grímr, but through cross-referencing I discovered that this was just another name for Odin as he has many.) Glod is also called Glöð or Glut. She's originally married to Logi (Not Loki) but out of lore inspiration, I have her mate as Hodr. I didn't really have to change any of her genes as I quite liked how she looked, so right now I'm just in the process of getting her outfit done! [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/468027/46802603_350.png[/img] And then I have Hodr, the Norse god of darkness and the cold. He is known as the blind twin of Baldr, and it was he that was tricked by Loki into killing Baldr with the mistletoe arrow. He is also called Höðr and Hod. This boy was originally a Spiral, but I thought the Tundra would be a better fit. (Ya know, because of the cold and simply because male Tundras are my absolute fave) I also have to finish Hodr's outfit o<.< Edit: Hodr and Glod's new kid- Tyr! [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/534307/53430650_350.png[/img] Tyr is the Norse god of law, justice in battle, victory, and heroic glory. He is well known for his feats and how he lost his hand to Fenrir, allowing the great wolf to be bound from doing so. Tyr is also known as Tíw and Ziu, and is the namesake of Tuesday. I do plan to expand the amount of gods/deities I have, and am currently working on three angels! [b]Now, I wanna know....do you have any gods or deities? What's their stories?[/b]

Well, I have Tumat, who is loosely based off the Maori god Tumatauenga. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=46402031] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/464021/46402031_350.png[/img] [/url] Tumatauenga is a god of war, hunting, and mankind, but in my Tumat is a really laid-back, possibly-undead-or-ascended-deity child of a demigod and an ancient elemental knight. (He [i]is[/i] a pretty good hunter, and one of his siblings is a deity of peace, but that's about as far as the original myth's influence goes.)

0v0 I've actually never heard of Tumatauenga, he sounds interesting!

Yeah, that's probably because he's a Maori deity, and New Zealand isn't very big.
There are some articles that explain it a little though.
