AKA; I just want to create some lore-based relationships that are cannon or not. To put it simply, leTS BUILD SOME SHIPS WITH OUR DRAGONS? EH?
mostly just looking for lore one-shots tbh! I could do an RP... but I’m really picky when it comes to that, so you’ll have to ask me directly about RP. So I’m just sticking with lore stories for now (I’ll probably do most of the writing too :’>)
I’m looking for dragons with developed character/personality and background/history! Doesn’t have to be already written out, but I’d love to hear about your own kiddos!
Meet Lucius! In cannon lore, he’s one of five members of an elite guard that guards the Queen’s palace—known as the palace guard (Ik, such a fancy title). Lucius isn’t necessarily evil, but he’s very dedicated to following orders, and so he can come off as cruel/bad because he always follows them (and the Queen is evil, so evil orders). He struggles a lot though with PTSD and depression, because when he was younger he was horribly scarred (hence the opal—it patched up his missing body parts). That and his job is really stressful.
He just needs someone who can understand him, doesn’t care about his ‘ugly’ looks, and one that has the patience to work through things with him. He’s really loyal and protective, and he’s like a Guardian, so he needs a ‘charge’ that’ll get him up and moving in the morning. He just wants to have someone to protect and someone who’ll be his mission in life (someone who can secretly meet at the border of the kingdom?)
TDLR; palace guard guard, haunted by his horrible scarring (opal has replaced body parts), PTSD, and depression. Just needs an understanding someone who can be his mission in life.
Singe here is the blacksmith of the kingdom, and he’s beyond passionate of his work. He doesn’t like the Queen, but he can’t really just yeet himself out of Whitewood ‘cause then he could be killed. Anyways, he has all that he needs as long as he’s creating what he’s tasked with creating. He’s kinda a scary boy with his flaming eyes, and dark feathers that cover his body, and heavy armor he wears to protect him from searing lava, but he’s a good guy at heart who just doesn’t get enough love imho. He would love to spoil his boyfriend/girlfriend with beautiful jewelry/armor and just give them lots of love. He admires those who can speak their mind and be brutally honest in a kind way, but don’t shy away from help if it’s offered.
TDLR; good guy blacksmith who seems scary but is truly kind at heart just looking for love
Madoc here is the palace gardener and groundskeeper. He’s really gay, a plant nerd who loves nature, and kinda a spooky cryptic who has the biggest heart. Just looking for someone who he feels could protect him and could appreciate plants with him.
Ichirou is actually a villian in my lore. Lives in the palace, is a bad dude (hates dragons), but I’m sure if someone is persistent enough they could probably melt his cold dead heart. He’ll be really cruel at first, but because he has limited himself to little to no interaction at all with others, I feel like he’ll start to appreciate the dragon bothering him lol. Will he ever be a good guy in the end? Who knows.
Iris here is an angel! She has no gender (physically—she has no reproductive organs), but she identifies as female. She’s an assassin/servant for the kingdom’s powerful accountant/treasurer. Like Lucius, she follows orders dutifully and always carries them out. She’s not evil, but she’s not good either. But she can love if she finds the right girlfriend for her. She’s also pretty bad***, just saying.
TDLR; angel just looking for a girlfriend who can treat her nice and help her vacation from her stressful job sometimes.
Lywulf here does not live in Whitewood (the kingdom that everyone else above lives in). He lives outside it, kinda near the border, in a town in an Inn run by a mysterious Imperial named Ochieng. Well, Ochieng found this poor half-wolf boy struggling to live in the woods and basically took him in. He’s the guard dog in a sense, and he helps out around the Inn doing menial tasks, but he tries his best. He can’t really speak draconic, or anything for that matter except for growls and snarls, but he’s intelligent and wise (aka, he can date someone but I swear to you it won’t be like bestiality). He’s skittish and nervous (because of his really troubled past), and it takes a while for him to warm up to someone. But he likes scritches and cuddles and he LOVES books. He struggles to read (he’s working on learning how to read), so he adores those who read to him. Just listening to others talk is his favorite pastime, but those who don’t mind talking to him and pretty much having a one-sided conversation with him make him feel appreciated and smart. He loves dragons who are like that (not ones who are condescending or demeaning however).
TDLR; dragon who is half wolf lives in an Inn and works there, really just looking to be appreciated cause he’s very intelligent, but cannot speak the language or read because of his wolf half. Just wants an understanding boyfriend/girlfriend who’ll help him grow and learn languages/to read.
That’s it! Thanks for coming to my TED talk!
