So, all dragons i’ve ever seen .. i’ve always, always hated piebald and paint. I just find the genes so ugly on all dragons i’ve seen. Idk it just looks fake or something?

I like Paint because it makes my subspecies look like they have blue sky w/ clouds in their wings:

Obsidian paint/piebald do make adorable cow dragons though!

I also generally dislike paint, but I made an excuse for my cook lad because he reminds me of coffee
I think the trick to liking a lot of "objectively ugly" genes is when the color makes it look like something familiar, like when you have brown colors with the ripple gene it looks like tree bark
