Zeme, unfortunately, had a big accident with some old bones that turned out to be cursed and ended up barely hanging onto her life. Aran, distraught, spends the next 6 months using her notes to build her a new body, so she can carry on travelling with him.

They end up falling in love and idk where the story goes from there but im working on it!

Lazurite had been invited to the clan before he showed up, but Hix had hunted down their clan for days, and his arrival was met with resistance. Most of the clan wanted to vote him out as Unsworn, but Lazurite wouldn't hear any of it and vouched to let him into the clan. Her sticking her neck out for him did not go unnoticed by him either, and they both took a fancy to each other that nobody complained about. Lazurite probably wouldn't have gone for anyone else, anyway, seeing as Hix was magically adept as well.
