So...little vent incoming. Phantom is an amazing gene! The only problem with it is how you get it. Honestly, I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I've been grinding the coli hunting for it every day since Gaolers released and I've got nothing to show for it. I've had to rework most of my Gaoler projects, since it was easily my favourite Gaoler primary gene. I even wound up getting rid of one of my birthday dragons because Phantom was the only primary that worked for him.
Please show me your dragons with Phantom! I suppose I just need proof it exists at this point. Bonus points if you found the dragon's Phantom gene yourself!
I haven't found any Phantom genes (obviously), but I do have one dragon who was born with it, my beautiful dragon Joel here. I can't wait to add more Phantom dragons to my lair and see all of your dragons with Phantom!

Ugh, same here. No Phantom or Spirit genes for me anytime soon it seems. I'm really glad I didn't need those two genes for my first pair. .-.
Also, I didn't get a single chest during Light Fest, but I got a ton of familiars for some reason.

WolfTears: I don't know why, but it seems especially rough with these genes in particular. I've never had this much trouble finding a Python or a Morph. I know what you mean about the familiars, too - I thought it was just me they're dropping like crazy for!

Yeah, I even found out I had an extra python in my hoard that must have come from grinding at some point, but Gaoler genes? Nada. I even got a Runescar Lynx from hunting yesterday. So much for rare, right? lol Gimme the dang genes already!
